Castellon - Nice : 930 km... Seems like a nice ride to Spain, where the beaches extend as far as the eye can see, and that from the time you get out the sea and walk to the shower yourself (which is beside the road), you are already dry! 

        Spain, with the well known "siesta", in order to be able to party all night...

        On the picture on the left hand, you can see our friends of Alicante, with Robin (who dances on the chair), a funny Irishman. I is always smiling. He says that it raises Leprechaun.

        This 16th gathering of "BIG TWEEN CLUB ESPAŅA" is much smaller the one which had been organized during the 5th  European H.O.G. Rally, from September 7 - 10, 1995, on the same site, but it is quite as good, and the camp-site quite as comfortable, and shaded.

        As in all the gatherings, many activities are proposed on the site, with for example concerts, like here, on the left hand, the group of the Seventies: Dr. Feelgood...
       ... And a few kilometers away from the site, with the races and the stunts with acrobatics planes. 


 

        But the "fun" does not stop there. Quite to the contrary! 

       Indeed, throughout the beaches, and in the cities near by, the restaurants and bars are filled of  people who only ask to have fun. 

        On the left hand, our friend Paul helps the charming young ladies of this bar (all made of wood, and on the beach!) to start the beer pump.

        During this trip, we have seen all friends, and met many people. 

       Brad, of  the Rhein Valley Legion Chapter (on the right hand on the picture),  are friends of Paul and Marion. With his wife, Laurel, they lived 9 years in Germany, and decided to go back to the USA. But before doing so, they traveled during 5 weeks through Croatia, Bosnia, Italy, France, Holland, Scotland (for the Rally of August), Ireland, and of course Spain. On the way back, they came to spend 2 days with us, in Nice.
