2nd Gathering
"INTER CHAPTER"
in Laives, 26 and 27 Jun 1999
| "There
are some days when without knowing it, we walk towards a great Destiny...
" (Robert Paimboeuf).
Thus by a
beautiful day of June, went away 7 beauties of Milwaukee from Cagnes
sur Mer towards Burgundy via the road called "the Napoléon road".
This delegation of the S.S.C.N.C.F. was going to join the old stagers of
the chapter (Phido, Jean, Bog, Daniel), who left 3 weeks ago. |

Seven hours
ride, a breakdown and two "straights" later (one does not follow
Cathy without any risk), our small troop stopped in Crémieux.
Cordial
greeting by the friends of Jean Luc, and exceptional evening with "the
Pasha" high place of the Lyon's jet set where one could recognize the split
image of Travolta in "the Revenge of the salesman of Turkish delight"!!
It is without saying that in Crémieux it is always better... |

The
night was the object of all the excesses of by some one (orange sporster
kind + look Michel Blanc). Morals and a proper decency prevent me from
describing you the certain scenes based on "the string of feet",
"the nun cha ku" and other kimonos embroidered. |

| The following
day, our small troop had to face the rain and a flat tire. Yes "the
biker's life is sometimes hard but we chose it " (Josette Bouchon).
It
was finally the arrival in Laives and its superb Lake. |

| The site was very
well arranged by our friends of the H.O.G. of Burgundy. It
was soon going to accommodate the virile tournaments of the Inter Chapter.
A such remake of the medieval tournaments, where the valiant knights came
to measure their bravery before going away to war... (stop: there I am
doing too much!). |

| The
results of 1998 were not really with the honor of the S.S.C.N.C.F. (before
the last of the classification). This is why the objectives for this year
were to avoid the last place of the classification (the famous wood spoon).
And
let us return from there we to the mystery existential of our destiny,
"Mektoub" like one says in Africa... Thus even in its most insane dreams,
never Phido would not have dared to cherish the hope to bring back the
Trophy of the victory of the Inter-Chapter. A splendid work of art
rewarding the more athletic(!) Chapter from France. Even if it had
dreamed once to hold the silver salad bowl of Wimbledon (at the time he
played jokari), and another time to win the "Hot d' Or" in Cannes (whereas
it discovered videos X), never he had thought to hold the V-Twin
cesarized in front of a delirious crowd... |

When it does not rain,
it sprinkles... |

However
he could believe in its personal legend, and the team which it trained
with a hand of Master called "Big Boss" (Phido, Jean, Tétard, Looping,
Nicolas and Michel) was going to offer him his day of glory, his Austerlitz,
his World cup...
By
the time you will read these lines, some among you will have heard
hundreds of versions of this historical episode of the Chapter, told and
deliciously embellished by the protagonists, happy to have lived an unforgettable
experiment. |
The
next year, we will be even more to defend this title, and we will
share together all the good moments of the Inter Chapter which is
a fraternal HOG members festival with the unique atmosphere and which one
should not miss...
